Meet Emily✧˖°

Welcome- I'm so glad you're here.
My journey into Pilates and Yoga is closely tied to my lifelong passion for movement. Yoga has been a part of my life since as early as I can remember! As a child, I participated in kids yoga and was instantly hooked in, maintaining my practice through difficult teen years into adulthood as a way to ground myself and my body. I always knew one day I wanted to become a teacher and help others.


It wasn’t until completing my yoga teacher training in 2023 that I found Pilates. After diving deep into yoga and its philosophy during my training, I gained a new perspective and appreciation for yoga as a way of life, but was starting to recognize some chronic pains and postural imbalances that my yoga practice alone wasn’t resolving. After doing some research, I decided to book my first one-on-one PIlates session not expecting much, but afterward— something clicked. I remember thinking,
Where has this been all my life? 

With a background in engineering, I have always been motivated by the ‘why” behind how things work. Discovering Pilates satisfied that curiosity, allowing me to dive deeper into the mechanics of the body, learning its deficiencies and restoring balance from the inside out. It is a movement I whole-heartedly believe in.



Over the years, I’ve fallen in love with movement that honors the whole person—not just the body, but also mind and spirit. I truly believe Pilates and Yoga are the perfect blend of that and I am so happy to be able to share that here at moonheal. 



When I'm not teaching or doing pilates/yoga, you can find me on a walk (usually with a matcha or coffee in hand), snuggled up on the couch with a book, playing with my sweet cat Yuki, or nerding out over astrology & tarot✧˖°
